Tsè

Tsè is a porcelain mug.‎The Tsé series embodies the essence of quiet moments, offering a graceful porcelain service ideal for coffee and tea.‎ The fine and delicate designs came to life through a collaboration between Taiwanese designer Pili Wu and Taipei-based HAN Gallery, led by the creative direction of Dutch designer Gijs Bakker.‎Together they dug into the rich heritage of Chinese culture, investigating how to combine traditional and modern production methods while presenting unique works of art.‎Crafted with the highest precision, the resulting set is inspired by the distinctive rippled pattern seen on disposable plastic cups in Taiwanese eateries.‎ The ripple transforms the delicate porcelain into a tactile experience while conveying a clear sense of origin.‎The Tsé series includes a mug, a cup, a bonbonniere, a vase and a candleholder.‎ Each piece is meticulously hand-polished, resulting in a captivating texture that contrasts with the porcelain’s airy nature.‎
