This vintage majolica leaf plate was likely produced in Portugal, circa the 1960s, and features a beautifully molded naturalistic leaf form with raised veining and richly mottled turquoise and green glazing. The glossy earthenware glaze pools and varies across the surface, creating depth and dimension characteristic of traditional majolica pottery. The sculptural leaf shape and vibrant color make this an especially attractive decorative plate for display or use.
