An exceptional pair of investment grade late 19th to early 20th C French woven silk tapestries by the legendary weavers, Neyret Freres of Saint-Etienne, France. Beautifully preserved pair features exquisite monochromatic jacquard-woven interpretations of Pierre-August Cot's two most famous romantic masterpieces: "The Storm" and its celebrated companion "Springtime". Both feature the authentic woven manufacturer's initials, N.F in the lower left corner and "d'apres P.A.Cot" in the lower right.
