Morris Poppy - Light Loom Woven Tapestry - Requires Rod Size 1
$900
Chairish
This striking tapestry is inspired from a panel in an oak-framed room screen designed by John Henry Dearle (1860 1932), and produced by Morris & Co. circa 1885-90. The original panel was canvas embroidered with silks. This beautiful tapestry is woven on a jacquard loom by skilled weavers, keeping alive the centuries old tradition of tapestry manufacturing from generation to generation. This tapestry is fully lined incorporating a sleeve along the top for hanging with a Hines hanging rod. Alternatively, this tapestry can be hung with a wooden batten which is a concealed method of hanging. Finish on reverse: This tapestry is fully backed with luxury cotton lining incorporating a sleeve along the top for hanging purposes. See Hanging Options below for more information.
