The Lizzie Derriey Design Studio was a Parisian textile and wall paper design house that created works between 1928 and 1994 for some of the world's best know fashion designers. The studio's signature style being the embodiment of color and creativity. Over this period with up to 25 artists and designers working at one time in the creative co-op, there were a vast number of original artworks created - each by hand, unique, and original. To this date very little is know of the studio that was located on Rue du Faubourg, Saint-Honore, Paris and even less about Lizzie Derriey herself. Nothing has been produced since and nearly 70 years worth of design classic are unaccounted for. We found a handful of these unique pieces over the last decade of travel to the markets of Paris. The overall size of the piece measures 18" W x 25.5" H. Focal area measures 5.5" W x 8.75" H. The piece is stamped with the design studios name and address in the lower right-hand corner.
