Contemporary Danish design meets ancient Himalayan tradition. Versus Tapestries awaken the senses through colour, texture, and hand craft. The soft white silk and blue hues of the Himalayan wool meet together in a dance of colour and light. One part absorbs the light while the other reflects. Designed in Denmark by multi-award winning textile and colour designer Margrethe Odgaard, the Versus Tapestries are handmade in Nepal and move through eight stages of production. Each part of the process is meticulously overseen by a traditional master artisan. The tapestry comes with its own serial number and is certified by Goodweave Foundation who work to support the elimination of child labour and the creation of healthy working conditions for weaving families. Individually hand crafted in using the ancient Tibetan Knot weaving technique. Made with 50% Tibetan Wool that is hand carded and spun and 50% Silk.
