Pair of large (30" x 16") linen towels circa mid 20th century. One depicts classic sailing motifs of rope, compass rose, brass red ship's lantern and signal flags. This is marked Robert Hughes. The other depicts a sailing scenes, including sailboats, a schooner and red buoy at sea. This is marked Hand Prints. In very good condition, no stains, tears or sign of repair. Lightly to un-used. Charming for the beach or lake house; traditional coastal preppy.
