Fashion designer Arthur Arbesser has a particular skill with pattern and color. His bold graphic prints are frequently inspired by the architecture and design heritage of his home city, Vienna. For Hem he has applied his skills to a series of rugs and throws. Each features a distinctive stylized pattern in an appealingly unconventional color palette. The Block Throw celebrates industrially inspired lines but also colourful Optical Art which tends to give the viewer an impression of a pattern within the pattern. This especially thick and warm throw is made from fine New Zealand lambswool using traditional weaving techniques. Perfect for colder climates or chilly days.
