The weave is based on the designer’s own library, giving a fresh rhythm and depth to the traditional check pattern. The wool blanket is woven at Lapuan Kankurit’s own mill in Finland using a blend of locally sourced Finnsheep wool and certified Wool Integrity NZ fiber. The blanket’s blue hue is dyed with a natural color extracted from Finnish-grown woad.
