Pair Of Embroidered Green And White Elephant Cushion Covers- Floral Elephants

From Indian artisan Sajad, two elephants wearing floral blankets are embroidered onto this pair of cotton cushion covers using aari chain stitching. A hook, or aari is used instead of a needle, which results in large stitches with visually pleasing textures. The stately elephants are stitched on background whorls of mossy green, while the reverse sides of the covers are off-white and include slits to insert cushions.
