Confining the block to the pillow’s edges, the textile artist thoughtfully balanced the application of the print against the clean white of the Japanese cotton backing.This hand-crafted pillow was designed by a local Chicago artist and textile historian who lovingly repurposes the vintage fabrics, garments and embroidery fragments she collects during her travels.
