Pierre Frey “Fanfare” In Tentation Embroidery Down Filled Pillows - A Pair

For those interested, A Hungarian stitch is one of the oldest needlepoint techniques and employs three long stitches combined with two shorter ones to deliver, roughly, a diamond shaped result. Very intricate and is reminiscent (to me) of a hooked rug. The end pattern gives a Missoni-inspired reinvented flame stitch of sorts. I couldn’t stop looking at it…and wondering how the effect was achieved on a commercial loom. Still do not know. In rich shades of forest green, soft and deep blue, mocha and whiskey brown, black, white, sea green, and soft pumpkin, this will come as a set of 22” down-filled pillows. Fanfare Pierre Frey fabric on the front with a coordinating neutral solid color fabric backing. Closure will be by way of an invisible zipper. Amazing.
