Antique solid brass floor standing towel rack. This rack also has adjustable height and rotating towel racks with large solid brass tighteners that stay in place. The base is also solid brass and doesn't tip. The design of the racks and the base legs are scrolls which is in the Rococo and the Hollywood Regency styles. The racks have solid brass bars that are loose and roll freely within the scrolls. The width between the holders is 13.5" on the top bar and 14" on the bottom bar. It is topped off with a hollow brass ball for a finial. It was made around 1910 in the Edwardian period. .
