This basket, or trash can, is signed Lancel Paris underneath, and has been made in Italy in the 1970's. The leather as a beautiful old patina. It is in good condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
