This is a good example of an English Mid-Nineteenth Century Chinoiserie Tray with later faux bamboo stand. The tray is in overall good condition with anticipated natural patina. The chinoiserie decorations remain sharp. The rim of the tray is well-detailed in a chinoiserie diaper design. Tole trays in chinoiserie are highly desirable and this one makes a great statement.
