This is such a unique and rare find! This is an antique English hand painted tray table. The tray has a wide scalloped edge detail, and is removable from the base. The painted Gothic cathedral scene is incredibly detailed from the leaded stained glass clearstory in the top left corner, to the organ pipes in the center, and the peoples faces along the bottom walking through the church. It tells such a story! The tray sits on a black faux bamboo wood cross base. I believe the tray and base are made of wood, but I've seen others listed as papier mâché. Ours is very solid. This is a work of art no matter how you choose to use it in your home!
