Antique Turkish Copper Tray Table on Folding Wooden Stand. The heavy, hand hammered cooper tray has a thick, scalloped pie-crust edge. The back of the tray has a hook for hanging on a wall, if desired. The tray is supported by a wooden base that can be folded flat, consisting of six legs, with spool turnings and nicely hand carved Mashrabiya fretwork. They probably date from the early part of the 20th century. Both the tray and the base are in very good condition, with wear consistent with age and use. The tray measures 25.5” in diameter and is 2.5” high at the rim. It weighs about 8 lbs. The base measures 21” tall with an 18.5” diameter. It folds down to 6” and weighs about 6 lbs.
