Purchased in the 90's No visible damage or wear Distressed as intended by the Manufacturer Tray is removable with felt lining and beautifully finished without use of the tray. Many beautiful shades of Brown Burl, Satinwood and Carving. I believe the wood species is Mahagony, Satinwood and Elm Burl.
