This is a great piece in that it is a Butler table that is very solid and stable and the height is great for working bar. The tray lifts off and can be sat upon the X base horizontally to make a coffee table. Light scratches throughout. X base does not fold. Black lacquer finish with goldish amber toile painted leaf design. Working surface height is 33 1/2 inches. Coffee table height would be 24 inches. Super functional as a Butler tray as the base fits into the grooves of the tray and makes it very stable.
