Found in England, this oval Chinese tray table dates from the 1940s. Table top is a removable oval tray with a faux bamboo outer rim. Base has decorative open work details and folds closed. Because the top can be removed and the base can be folded flat, this table can be inexpensively shipped via parcel service. Unknown maker. Very good vintage condition with minor scattered surface wear.
