The white ceramic tray or English salver from SoShiro’s Ainu collection, a collaboration between award-winning artist Toru Kaizawa and Shiro Muchiri, is a sophisticated and artistic serving platter that makes for a unique statement centrepiece. It is inspired by the traditional Nibutani Ita wooden tray, a type of bento from the Ainu people.This ceramic piece is cast and hand-finished in the Veneto region of Italy, renowned for its rich heritage in ceramics. The white glazed ceramic with a Blakiston’s fish owl eyes motif was designed by celebrated Ainu artist Mamoru Kaizawa.
