Aluminum Reversible Watch Tray by Henry WilsonDimensions: W 26 x D 11 x H 3 cmMaterials: Aluminum.Available in aluminum and bronze.Watch tray designed in collaboration with Jaeger-LeCoultre, in celebration of the Swiss company’s Reverso watch, first released in 1931. Like the classic timepiece, it features two sides: one is for a single watch laid flat, the other accommodates two watches with straps fastened.The three layers represent the three gaudrons of the Reverso’s case, whose form is also echoed in rectangular and curved elements. An Art Deco aesthetic speaks subtly to practicality.Henry Wilson's work combines a rational, democratic utility with an element of sculptural expression. There is a clear form and function in our products, but it’s important they also have feeling. We are interested in the awkward beauty that comes from something made by hand. We like to explore how imperfection can be introduced into an Industrial process, to make something at scale that retains a sense of individual charm.
