Offered is a staved teak cheese/charcuterie/carving board designed by Jens H. Quistgaard for Dansk in 1961. Known as Model 1635, it is both sleek and functional, and built to last. Originally made in both light and dark teak wood, as well as the African rare hard wood collection produced in the 1960s, the end grain is durable. This is one of the darker boards - with chestnut and coffee colors in the grain of the staved teak. Has the Dansk Designs and JHQ (Jens Harald Quistgaard) maker's mark for products made in Denmark between the late 1950s and early 1960s. It measures 17.5" in diameter and 1" in height.
