Authentic Japanese lacquer presentation table from 1936. Table dimensions: height 5 cm, width 28.5 cm, depth 28.5 cm. Each tray is marked on the bottom and sold individually. The interior is coated with red urushi lacquer, while the exterior is black lacquered. The raised edge is finished with gold. The serving table rests on two beautifully shaped low supports, creating a floating effect. These types of tables were used to present and serve dishes at ceremonies and festivities. The tables are in good condition with only minor signs of age and date back to 1936, as indicated on the wooden crate.
