Made of 95 % locally recycled iron, the disk is seasoned with organic vegetable oil until it gleams like well-loved cookware. Set a scalding pot on it straight from the stove; if the finish ever fades, brush on fresh oil and bake it back to life. Three cork pads keep the weighty surface steady and spare your tabletop.
