Facet Tumbler 20 Cl

$125

Gracious Style

Carefully designed volumes of the parisons, extreme smoothness, beauty of the patterns resculpted by hand, purity of crystal... Reflection of a certain art of living, the “Facet” tumblers satisfy the pleasure of eyes and senses. Inspired both by the "Yquem glasses "created by René Lalique in 1934, and by Art Deco, lines of geometrical rigour and timeless graphic power crossover with these luxurious and stylish tumblers... Made-to-measures for these partners of relaxed and convivial moments. Trained as a jeweler at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Paris in the late 1880's, Rene Lalique gained recognition as an independent designer for some of the era's great jewelry houses including Cartier and Boucheron. Eventually, he turned to glassmaking, and his techniques were a triumph for the Art Deco movement. Every piece of Lalique is finely detailed and produced by hand in Alsace, France.
