Part of a series of glass objects created for Driade by the late Czech 'poet of design' Bořek Šípek, the sensual form of these exquisite flutes is defined by a rare horizontal symmetry. The conical flute of the drinking glass is inverted to form the stem and base. A decorative waist features a dynamic multicolor shoal of glass fish. 'Marina', with its dual-textured surface and influences from the bohemian baroque, is a captivating addition to tables, and an essential item for collectors. Glasses can be mixed and matched with other pieces by Šípek for the Italian design house.
