In the G mug you meet the Hobgoblin. The Hobgoblin has been searching for the King's Ruby. Thingumy and Bob possess it. He offers to trade, but they refuse. Instead, the Hobgoblin proposes to grant them a wish. Thingumy and Bob, recognizing that the Hobgoblin cannot grant wishes for himself, wish for an identical ruby.
