Splendid dressing table in elm burl veneer adorned with gilt bronze fittings. It embodies the elegance and refinement of the Empire period. Its cheval mirror features a round mirror framed by a delicate baguette chiseled with a geometric frieze, mounted on two Empire-style columns. The latter are adorned with bronze rings at the top and bottom, and surmounted by a beautiful Greek-style urn. The top of this dressing table is made of embossed elm burl veneer surrounding an oval white Carrara marble top. This piece opens at the waist with a large drawer, decorated with a functional lock and its ornate key. The whole rests on two imposing Empire columns, also adorned with bronze rings and collars.
