1960's Italian Surrealist Royal Maiolica Flowered Bust Vase After Giuseppe Arcimboldo

This is 1960's Italian Surrealist Majolica Face / Bust Vase. This fantastic vase is beautifully molded into a Surreal bust that uses flowers and greenery motifs to depict features in the style of Giuseppe Arcimboldo, This was produced by Royal Maiolica in Italy with artist Alessandro Baccari, who was one of their premier artists. Royal Majolica's pottery was imported through luxury importers like Meiselman Imports and Tiffany & Company in the mid and late 20th Century. This fantastic vase is 14.5 inches high, 8 inches wide and 15 inches deep. We had the luck of acquiring three of these vases from a prominent estate, there are two left. They were each resting on tall Pedestals facing different directions. They look equally stunning stand alone as sculpture or filled with beautiful greenery and flowers. Perfect focal point in any space. Great vintage condition with no cracks or chips. Dim. 15ʺW × 8ʺD × 15ʺH.
