The India Vase is made of 70% Sicialian tomato peel waste and 30% of PLA, the polylactic acid derived from renewable resources like maize and compostable in industrial facilities. By using the newest 3D printing techniques the objects folds, swells, moves and takes shape in a surface that can feel like fabric to the touch.Fornice Objects uses a technology that’s rapid, repeatable and rigorous to make bold yet ethereal statements.This piece is not water-resistant and may be used as sculpture or only for dried flowers.The pleated surfaces seems like fabric at first glance, only weighting 300 grams.
