Ando Cosmos

Ando Cosmos is a blown glass vase handmade by the master in the furnace.‎ Three glass elements blend together to create the geometry of a sphere concealed by their conjunction.‎ Have you ever seen the cosmos so close? Space in matter.‎ Matter in space.‎ Finite in its infinity and vice versa.‎ This is how Tadao Ando imagines it: it’s up to your imagination to fill the void.‎“The theme of this piece embodies the “Order of Space” by employing a simple geometry of a sphere subtracted from the centre of a cube.‎ Perpendicular divisions of the combined volume result in four separate parts.‎ Through the skilled craftsmanship of Venetian glassmakers, this design materializes into a jewel-like sculpture.‎ This work takes the form of a group of three elements.‎ The viewer must imagine the intentionally missing piece of the composition to complete the order of the “COSMOS”.‎ (Tadao Ando)Colors:CrystalLimited Edition in 19 worksAacquamarine / Grape / Mint greenTea / Red / GreyStrw-yellow / Grass Green / RoséLimited Edition in 30 works
