Part of the Artemisia Collection of signed and numbered vases, this splendid piece is defined by a unique pattern of dense, decorative, raised scales, entirely created by hand using the "colombino" technique, an ancient coiling method used to produce fine handmade ceramic pieces. Boasting a delicate celadon hue, the glossy glazed surface is obtained through a double firing in the kiln at two different temperatures, creating an overall captivating effect highlighting the sculptural relief.
