Designed in 1940 by Carlo Scarpa for Venini, this exclusive vase is available in a numbered edition and features a round body of blown glass with a small mouth and no neck, reminiscent of ancient jars. The textured "battuto" green top and the wavy, deep red layer of the base are fused together using the "incalmo" technique, an ancient method dating back to the 16th-17th centuries, in a striking chromatic contrast.
