The 'Billy' vase collection is the vision of Serax designer Marie Michielssen and the result of a creative process that was a long time in the making. Following the release of a series of ceramic collections for the Belgian design brand, Michielssen created 'Billy' — a family of white stoneware vases united by a thread of oblique and horizontal lines that are combined with a hand-molded body and a distinct geometric quality. This large version of the 'Billy 01' vase pairs smooth sloping lines with a spherical core for a vessel that is both playful and emblematic of Michielssen's approach.
