Cedrus Libani #3 Vase

This magnificent vase was hand-turned from a singular piece of Lebanon cedar tree. What makes this piece strikingly modern is the fact that the traditional texture of the wood was modified to obtain a surface that resembles the surface of a distant planet with a multitude of incisions, accompanied toward the top by a series of protruding elements that make it resemble the skin of a reptile.
