The city of Faenza ("Faience" in French) is internationally renowned for its prized ceramic production, and this one-of-a-kind design was handcrafted by local master Pier Paolo Garavini. Its slender majolica body glazed in glossy red consists of interlocking, piled volumes of disks and cylinders that together create a glamorous contemporary sculpture, while when detached they function as compact vases. Sections in bisque terracotta are left exposed to maintain their natural warmth.
