Fazzoletto Opalini Cerulean Vase By Fulvio Bianconi

$600

Artemest

Crafted by hand of mouth-blown lattimo glass, a milk-white glass invented in Murano in the 15th century to imitate porcelain, this vase is layered with cerulean glass sheets to create an intense and vibrant color. It was designed by Fulvio Bianconi in 1948, in a distinctive shape that reproduces the graceful folds of a handkerchief ("fazzoletto" in Italian) with sensual and natural fluidity.
