Hana Vase

The Hana Vase marries the ancient practice of ikebana with a modern and multifunctional approach to decorative floral displays. Offered in three analogous forms, each stoneware vase has its own unique color and finish. A removable ceramic flower frog–or kenzan–sits within the vase and holds stems and branches in place both horizontally and vertically to create fail-safe displays based on ikebana’s principles of balance, harmony, and movement. For more conventional flower arrangements, the kenzan can be removed. Here, the vase’s concave lip provides functional support for upright blooms.
