The Le Canopie Izumi Vase from Seletti takes the classic canopic jar format and gives it a more modern graphic treatment. Designed by Elena Cutolo, the porcelain lid is sculpted into a head with hand-drawn features and two round, striped bun-like forms on either side. The wide, rounded body below carries a pattern of concentric circles arranged across its surface, the repetition giving the piece a bold, optical quality that contrasts with the softer, more personal character of the face above.
