At 36 cm tall and 8 kg of hand-blown crystal, the Licata in clear is one of the weightiest pieces in the collection, wide-shouldered, formally architectural, with a classical urn-like proportion that the rounded cap completes like a dome. Remove the cap and it becomes a large independent vase for generous floral arrangements. The clarity of the crystal makes the Licata a study in light distribution: transparent and refractive in daylight, luminous under artificial light. Made in Tuscany since 1945.
