Lydion Limonita Stoneware Vase

The N.3 series results from analyzing the different types of vases found in the Mediterranean basin, especially from Ancient Greece and Rome. The collection combines ancient forms and shapes with experimental surface treatments featuring glazes and contemporary elements. These pieces are made of stoneware with grog from Manises (Valencia), using the plaster casting technique. Their surfaces are obtained by applying self-formulated glazes in various layers. The stoneware vase in handmade to order by the Valencia-based studio, Canoa Lab.
