Murrine Romane Vase By Carlo Scarpa In Multicolor

This exquisite blown glass vase was designed by Carlo Scarpa for Venini in 1940 and is part of a numbered edition. The generous bowl shape is enlivened with graphic and chromatic effects obtained with the "murrine" technique. Yellow dots are enclosed in concentric black and red frames floating on a clear background.
