Each Nuvola starts as a perfect sphere, then is dented by hand, a single gesture that gives it its distinctive cloud-like silhouette and its stability. The clear version is the most optically precise: no colour to mediate between the crystal and the light, only the refractive brilliance of hand-blown glass. Made in a historic glasshouse outside Florence, active since 1945. Works as a sculptural object or as a vase for a single stem. Also available in amber, pink, and green.
