As suggested by its name ("orilla" means shore in Spanish), this vase recreates the image of sinuous lines left by crashing waves on the shoreline. Designed by Patricia Urquiola in collaboration with Budri, this piece combines a resin top in a bright red hue with a base in Iranian white onyx. This unique vase can be displayed as a statement piece to add an elegant accent in any interior decor. The stabilizing mesh inside the top is left intentionally visible by the designer to stress the contrasting textures: the clarity and strength of the resin and the opaqueness and fragility of the onyx.
