Ossa is a collection of artistic ceramics inspired by plant seed pods, natural containers that protect and preserve the essence of life. Much like bones in the human body, these wooden shells serve as protective structures for seeds. The diversity of forms found in nature’s capsules has been a constant source of fascination. Some pieces in the Ossa collection closely reflect the botanical features of their plant inspiration, while others abstract their organic shapes into sculptural forms. What unites them is a single purpose: to celebrate life in all its myriad expressions. This vase is handcrafted from white stoneware, glazed and fired at high temperatures. The interior features a glossy optical white finish, while the exterior has a tactile, matte ivory surface. Its design is inspired by the seed pod of the elm tree (Ulmus). Unique piece.
