The vases traditionally crafted by the Messapians - an ancient tribe once based in the Apulian region of Salento - inspired the sculptural design of this vase from the Paleobubble Collection. Named after one of the cities where they once lived, it is a one-of-a-kind piece with a cylindrical body and dramatic handles, crafted by blending different kinds of terracotta and chamotte to create its grainy texture and dark-brown hue that lends it striking chromatic depth.
