This vase features a smooth, spherical shape with a sharp cut top that allows full view of the thick glass walls enclosing metal fibers and air bubbles. Part of a limited edition of only 49 pieces designed by Paolo Venini in 2016, this vase is handcrafted using the "sommerso" technique, a complex method where layers of clear glass interplay with the metal particles without mixing to create a unique chromatic, three-dimensional effect.
