Playfully named Puffo, this vase has a round ‘pouf-like’ shape. To achieve the desired form and dimensions, the molten glass is first mouthblown and, once cooled, the surface is transformed by a laborious cold carving process called ‘molatura’, which lends to the vase a special luminous and tactile quality. This vase is handcrafted and signed. This piece is currently on show and immediately available at Artemest Galleria New York.
