Reel Vase By Aldo Londi

This exquisite small vase is in white clay with a striking turquoise finish. Its rectangular shape with a smaller base and top evokes the shape of a reel and features a series of parallel geometric carvings running all around its central body. This piece was designed by Aldo Londi in 1953, when he was artistic director of Bitossi.
